Hummus
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked and chilled garbanzo beans
2 tablespoons tahini (fermented sesame seed paste)
1 teaspoon sea salt
4-5 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons cold-pressed olive oil
½ tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend together until creamy, or you can put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and use a hand-held blender. Then just refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. Serve with rye bread or crackers.
