Feta Cheese Balls
Ingredients
16 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
3 tablespoons Cold Pressed Olive Oil or Butter, plus more to moisten hand
1 cup Feta Cheese, crumbled
5 Green Onions, chopped
3 cloves Garlic, roasted, cooled and minced
1 tablespoon Dill Weed
2 teaspoons Oregano, dried
¾ teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
Pistachios, crushed
Directions
1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and oil or butter until smooth
2. Stir in the feta cheese, onions, garlic, dill, oregano and pepper
3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
4. Coat hands with olive oil or butter
5. Shape cheese mixture into individual balls, about 2 inches each
6. Roll cheese balls over pistachios to evenly coat the outside
7. Wrap in plastic wrap
8. Refrigerate for at least and hour
Serve with cucumber slices or sesame crackers
