Meatloaf Seasoning Mix Recipe for 4 Portions
Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Dried Mustard
2 Tablespoons Paprika
1½ Tablespoons Sea Salt
½ Tablespoon Thyme, dried
1½ Tablespoons Basil, dried
½ Tablespoon Oregano, dried
1½ Tablespoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
½ Tablespoon Cayenne (optional)
Directions
1. Combine dry spices and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar)
This is enough seasoning for 4 loaves
2. Use 3 tablespoons of seasoning mix per 2 lbs of ground beef, lamb, pork, turkey, sausage or combination
3. Combine seasoning mix and meat in a bowl with 2 eggs and 2 cups of finely diced vegetables of your choice (I prefer carrots, zucchini and onions)
4. Form into a loaf on an oven safe pan and coat with sugar free ketchup
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
