Whipped Cream
Ingredients
1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream (preferably raw)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
10 drops Liquid Stevia, or to taste
Directions
1. Place the cream in a large mixing bowl and beat with a whisk or an electric hand held mixer until it begins to thicken
2. Add the Vanilla and Stevia over the cream and continue to beat until soft peaks form (do not overbeat)
3. Use immediately or place in an airtight container and refrigerate up to 4 days
Notes:
I always place the bowl in the freezer for 30 minutes before preparation in order to chill it thoroughly. The heavy cream is placed in the freezer 10 minutes prior. I do this because my mother told me to and that’s the only reason anyone needs. “Just do it!” ~ Shia LaBeouf
I also personally don’t like the taste of Stevia in my whipped cream. I don’t add it and people don’t notice. They’re always mesmerized by the fluffy peaks of whipped cream.
