April Holistic Newsletter
Welcome back. This week’s newsletter will contain my mom’s borscht with sausage recipe. It’s a personal sentimental favorite that always reminds me of how beautifully she would garnish her soups. Ricky and I were trying to come up with a couple recipes that could incorporate hard boiled eggs for the abundance some of us deal with after an Easter egg hunt.
Listening to the wind and rain outside is so pleasant. Rain always makes me think of the varied ways in which nature cleans our air for us. If any of you are not aware of which house plants are best at removing chemicals from your home, please ask Sarah for a copy of the air filtering plants article the next time you come in to the office. Whenever I get a new rug or upholstered furniture, I always keep it in a room with an open window and a few chrysanthemums to help break down and eliminate the formaldehyde that new products often off gas into our homes.
I hope you all enjoy the weekend. Tonight is the art walk in downtown Vancouver and I’m looking forward to seeing beautiful local art and running into friends. While you’re out this weekend don’t forget to grab yourself a house plant to clean your home’s air.
